During my time in the Microsoft APC I contributed to a joint project between Microsoft and Easton Lachappelle of Unlimited Tomorrow. The project focused on giving Easton access to Microsoft's prototyping resources in order to realize his latest ideas in prosthetics, in particular for a young person named Momo.
My biggest impact on the project was the ideation of removable fingernails and integrating magnets for improved dexterity. This impacted Momo's ability to adapt to her environment and allowed her to customize nail length, style and color at will.
